VYAPI, aka Dhiraj Hirolli, is a dynamic Techno DJ and producer from Bangalore, India. Having transitioned from a successful commercial DJ career to the underground scene, he has performed at top venues such as Fairfield by Marriott, Biergarten, and BOHO Koramangala & Whitefield. His evolution into techno was driven by deep affinity for techno’s hypnotic energy and it power, his alias, VYAPI - Sanskrit for “engulfing” or “all-encompassing” captures the essence of his sound.”

His latest track, “Convolutions,” released on Oliver Huntemann’s Senso Sounds, marked a major milestone in his journey and was notably played by Huntemann himself at the iconic Fusion Festival in Germany - one of Europe’s biggest electronic music festivals. Before that, he made his debut with the Red Rift EP on Occultus Recordings (#2 Hard Techno Label – All Time), a 3-track showcase of distinctive, 303-driven techno, with one of the tracks later featured in the label’s 10-Year Best Releases Compilation VA.

Continuing his ascent, VYAPI has recently signed with Soupherb Records, one of India’s most reputed electronic music labels, further cementing the quality of his sound. His release with the imprint is set for release in the coming months.

Beyond production, he curates and hosts ‘STEEL’, a podcast spotlighting the best in peak-time and driving techno. With more releases on the horizon and an unwavering commitment to dark, propulsive sounds, VYAPI is steadily carving his place in the global techno scene.
